I had a little free time on my last day in Copenhagen and decided to ride the train north of the city. I wish I could say I had a destination in mind, but I just needed to rest and thought I would find a train more restful than a room. This is the castle from Hamlet in Helsingør (Elsinore), behind the construction. I didn't go in, but maybe you can see ghosts on the ramparts.
The layout of the town is not unlike a Mediterranean beach village where one can wander the cobblestone streets in search of a cappuccino and a trinket, except it was cold, and I wasn't in the mood for anything but a quick smørrebrød. Like in Copenhagen, they have a Ferris Wheel.
Snow-covered woods and fields, which I gather is not a regular sight in Denmark, on the train ride back.
From the tracks:
Back in the city, a wind farm in the Øresund.
